Select the size of the set (the number of columns and rows), how many elements are combined in each cell, and transformations (shift and mirror). Click on any matrix cell to keep it.

Explore new visual expressions and vocabularies, working within self-imposed limitations. Create new forms by combining a few basic geometric shapes. Take just a few steps from simple to complex. All creative forms are developed in a similar fashion, systematic and at random, with basic geometric shapes at their core.

The more basic and abstract the shapes, the more our imagination can see.

The matrix was created in collaboration with Misha Dynin, a long-time Google engineer and the founder of Dynin Labs. Misha’s research focuses on compartmentalizing computer complexity and development of archival quality software.
