The staircase that feels like drinking a glass of champagne. The central feature of the PMA-designed Louis Vuitton Matsuya Ginza store.
Multiple reflections create a feeling of depth. As one walks along the stair, the walls appear to shift and change depending on the view angle.

The starting point was the basic infinity box one can see in science museums: two mirrors that face each other, forming the seemingly endless line of images fading into the distance. Kaleidoscopes follow the same principle. We designed the effect in only 8cm of depth.

In new implementations of the infinity wall, we could program LED lights to form patterns infinitely reflected to create an ornamental surface.
