TM/R design developed unique methodology, Brand Geometry, based on systematic form exploration. Working with fashion brands, we start with in-depth research of the brand, it’s key collections, products and narratives; then, we set up a unifying structure, key forms, patterns and tools. In addition to fashion brands, TM/R design created brand identity for Virgin America Airlines, brand and packaging for Althaus tea, publication designs for Phaidon Press, posters for SFMOMA, AIGA, Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, and Oakland Museum of California. TMR design services include brand strategy lead by Derek O’Connor and Eugene Timerman.

Anne Timerman studied architecture at McGill and UC Berkeley, and trained at the office of California architect Joseph Esherick. AT had worked for over 10 years with Peter Marino, developing architectural concepts for Dior, Louis Vuitton, Loewe, Zegna, Hublot and Chanel. AT developed facades of Louis Vuitton stores in London and Munich, the infinity staircase at Tokyo Ginza Matsuya, Hublot 5th avenue NY façade, and created product display prototypes that were successfully rolled out in numerous locations. AT joined TM/R design in 2015, working with ISSEY MIYAKE and Moroso.

Eugene Timerman studied design in San Francisco, where he first developed the method of visual exploration, using algorithms to generate new forms out of ready-made or prepared elements. ET founded TM/R design in 2007. He designed books for PHAIDON Press, created posters for the American Institute of Graphic Artists AIGA, SFMOMA, New York Folk Art Museum, and Cooper Hewitt Design Museum. ET created the new visual system for Virgin America, and with renowned brand agency Wolff Olins the new identity project for New York City.
