Our furniture collection produced by Moroso was shown at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. Hannah-Kit collection follows from our longstanding fascination with folding: two-dimensional shapes assume complex and sometimes unexpected three-dimensional form. We played with paper, folding and revising the outlines in iterations — geometric exercises that we transferred to metal to produce the Hannah-Kit tables. It was a great time to be in Milan: in the showroom designed by Patricia Urquiola, Hannah-Kit was shown alongside new collections created by renowned designers including Patricia Urquiola, Doshi Levien, Ron Arad, Gordon Guillaumier, Tord Boontje, Nendo, Benjamin Hubert, David Weeks, Martino Gamper, Marc Thorpe and Edward van Vliet.

POLIMODA International Institute of Fashion Design & Marketing. New Narratives of Visual Language. The lecture focuses on how to understand and communicate the uniqueness of a brand today. In the fashion industry especially, products, environments and communications have to be continuously re-created, in ways that are both new yet easily recognizable. Boundaries between real and interactive brand environments give way to multi-dimensional, integrated experiences. Traditional prescriptive branding no longer works; instead we need to define the framework, the structure, and leave room for the unexpected to happen. 7.19.16.
